If you’re looking to create separate living spaces in a studio apartment, think about using bookcases. You can configure them to act like a wall and if the back is unfinished, pretty it up with wallpaper or grasscloth. It’s a perfect solution for renters since you can take your wall with you when you leave! I used Ikea Billy bookcases in my studio apartment to create an entryway giving me a place to hang my coat and much needed additional storage.
