This is exactly what I need for my galley kitchen, but it is wider than 3 feet. Do you think that it would be reasonable to tape two pieces together? You used vinyl tape on top in your design, so I’m thinking that something like that could cover the seam. Ideally I’d like to use something paintable so that I can use a stencil instead of incorporating a line down the middle into the design. I’m thinking two or three coats of polyurethane would make the seam less noticeable even if it is not completely flat.

Anyway, I’m open to suggestions here. I may just have to spring for the Ram Board and experiment.
